Criminal Law
We defend you before the law.
From the first hour of an investigation to the final appeal, we represent clients as suspects, defendants, complainants or intervening parties. In a Turkish criminal proceeding, what enters the record decides the outcome.

Frequently recorded questions
The answers below are general information; your specific matter requires a consultation.
What are the rights of a person taken into custody?
The right to remain silent, the right to defence counsel and the right to have relatives notified, among others — rights that must be communicated before any statement is taken, under Article 147 of the Turkish Code of Criminal Procedure (CMK).
How do I find out whether I am under investigation?
Unless a confidentiality order is in place, investigation files can be examined through defence counsel; some records can also be viewed on e-Devlet, Türkiye's e-government portal.

As a rule it is optional; in the cases enumerated by law, however, the appointment of defence counsel is mandatory.
