What are the consumer's options for defective goods?
The consumer may withdraw from the contract, claim a price reduction in proportion to the defect, have the goods repaired free of charge, or have them replaced with defect-free equivalents (Law No. 6502, Article 11).
How long is the withdrawal period for a distance contract?
The consumer may withdraw within fourteen days without giving any reason and without paying a penalty; the exceptions to this right are listed in the regulation (Law No. 6502, Article 48).
